Lessons build up to the roads, junctions and manoeuvres your local test centre actually uses, so test day is familiar rather than new.
City centre traffic when you are ready
Busy junctions, bus lanes and multi-storey car parks are part of driving in Manchester. We introduce them once the basics are steady.

Learning to drive in north Manchester
Every area we cover has its own quirks, and the roads you practise on matter as much as the hours you put in.
We start new learners on quieter residential streets, where there is room to get used to the clutch, the mirrors and the feel of the car without a queue building up behind you. Once that feels steady, lessons move on to the busier roads, the multi-lane junctions and the bus lanes that come with driving anywhere near the city centre.
Closer to test standard, lessons are built around the roads your local test centre actually uses. Practising the same junctions, roundabouts and manoeuvre spots that come up on the day means far less of it is new when it counts.
Pick up and drop off is anywhere in the areas listed above. Most learners are picked up from home, but we are equally happy to collect you from work or college if that fits your week better.
